Rosalie Bradfield née Hewgill, was the oldest of 5 children. Her siblings were John, Billie, Charlie and Elsie. |
My mother was born in 14 Grove Road on 14th October 1922 and lived there until she was 11 when her mother died. Her mother Rosalie Bradfield was church organist at Burgh Parva and was buried there. Rosalie's brothers played for Melton Constable Football club and she played piano for Melton Constable choir. Her father was Charles Aubrey Bradfield and worked for the railway.
